Day Six

Dive into your recipe!
Today we are going to being picking apart your recipe with your group.

Each day that you work in your groups you are going to have a new job.
Each person will have a chance to do every job for one day. It is important that you do the work assigned for each day because you will not have a chance at the job again.
Each job is very important and has it's own assignment to complete for the day. Some students will finish their jobs before others. When this happens help the other members of your group complete their task and work on research. After each class neatly put all of the work and research you have done for the day into a folder that you will give to the group member taking over your job.

Job Descriptions:

The Reporter: Start the research of information about the country. Perhaps this might be interesting facts or fun facts about the tradition chosen.

The Historian
: Will start researching the history behind the tradition and the recipe. Why and how did it become a tradition, how did the food become associated with it?

The Head Chef: Will complete the given math worksheet that practices adding and subtracting fractions. Then they will convert one aspect of the recipe to make enough servings for the class.

The Food Critic
: Will start to look up the ingredients history and find the relevance and connection between the ingredients and the traditional recipe.
